Today there are many catch phrases within the pest control industry especially when it comes to environmentally friendly pest control solutions. People look for keywords such as organic, pet-safe, natural, odorless pesticides, and "Green Pest Control". Each of these phrases can easily be misconstrued. Further, the EPA and the AZ state pest control board regulate what companies can say and can't say. Some say things they should not. While others follow the rules. In the end, you must decide what Green Pest Control means to you. Does green pest control mean the products are organic? Does it mean the products are less toxic then table salt? Does it mean that the company aspires to use less fuel or alternative fuels? Does green pest control mean the pest control company recycles? or is it all of the above?

 

Other Things to Consider :

-ORGANIC -Many individuals think because its organic is safer and better. This is not always true. For example, Diatomaceous Earth is organic. But is it a Safe Pesticide? After many years they have found that Diatomaceous Earth causes chronic lung problems. The dust is so fine that it is easily breathed in. Once inside of your lungs it scrapes, claws, and damages your lung walls. Your body cannot metabolize it. So your lungs develop scar tissue. So while the product is organic and natural pest control, it is still dangerous to humans and animals. Therefore being organic does not mean its safe. PS...Arsenic is organic.

 

Not to be discouraged, there are products that are derived from tree oils and other natural means that do work. In fact, Hexa-Hydroxyl kills insects by blocking specific neural pathways that don't exist within mammals. Boric acid is less toxic then table salt. And in the end, what you really want to know is how toxic is the pest product being used. Bulwark uses products that fall within the "Caution Label".
